It's debate time in the Ohio race for governor!
The debate will be held September 19, 7pm at the University of Dayton; October 1, 7pm at Marietta College; and October 8, 7pm at Cleveland State University.
Want to up the stakes at your watch party?
Need a reason to stay tuned-in?
Want to know if either candidate is taking policy positions that support families and workers?
Join us in a round of Policy BINGO!
We’ve compiled the policy recommendations from a New Way Forward: 10 ways to support Ohio’s working people, and A Winning Economic Agenda for Ohio’s Working Families into our *exclusive* BINGO cards.
Will the candidates support expanding overtime protections so more people are paid for all the hours they work? (We’re losing $866,234 a week in wages because we’ve failed to implement updated overtime rules, BTW.)
Will the candidates support tax credits for working families and investments in local government, education and infrastructure repair, instead of more tax cuts for the wealthiest?
Pick your card and play along. The first five folks to tweet a completed winning card to @PolicyMattersOH will get sweet Policy Matters swag (either a T-shirt, a spoon, a glass tumbler or a mug).
But really, everyone wins when candidates focus on policies that build an economy for all.
We will tweet at @PolicyMattersOH, #OHGov, #OHGovDebate, and #OHPolicyBingo
The debate will air on WHIO-TV in Dayton, 10-TV in Columbus, and will stream live on DaytonDailyNews.com, WHIO.com and on the WHIO Facebook page.
Our friends and Winning Agenda partners, Innovation Ohio, share the livestream on their Facebook page.
