SANDUSKY — Republican proposals to limit spending on Medicaid could be harmful to Ohio because of the state's demographics, a health care expert said Monday in Sandusky.
Wendy Patton is senior project manager for Policy Matters Ohio, a think-tank. She specializes in studying the state budget and devotes much of her time to Medicaid, which provides medical care to low-income Americans.
Patton was the guest for a Monday afternoon segment of "Between the Lines Live." A video of her appearance is available for on-demand viewing at the Register's website, www.sanduskyregister.com.
