The share of revenues supporting education, infrastructure, health and well being of America’s civic society has been supported more by individuals and families and less by corporations over time. This is true on both the national and the state level. As an epic struggle over fiscal resources emerges at all levels of government, this deserves a closer level of scrutiny.
