That’s why Policy Matters Ohio is hosting a daylong conference on low-wage work along with partners from The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland, Neighborhood Connections, Cincinnati Interfaith Workers Center, Central Ohio Worker Center, the labor community, and others. This conference is an important step toward founding a worker center here in Northeast Ohio, built on a broad and deep understanding of the challenges facing low-wage workers.
